A World of Opportunity...

The Don and Cathey Humphreys Travel Grants are available to Oklahoma State University students that need additional funding for longer-term (8 weeks or more) travel experiences overseas. Don and Cathey Humphreys provided generous funding for these grants to assist OSU students to gain greater global exposure. The Humphreys grants are administered by the Don and Cathey Humphreys Chairs, which are held by faculty of Oklahoma State University, and managed by the School of Global Studies and Partnerships. Note: These grants are separate from the Humphreys' Study Abroad Scholarships. To apply for those, click here.

The faculty members who hold the Humphreys Chairs are appointed by the Board of Regents based upon recommendations from the Provost, the Dean of the School of Global Studies and Partnerships in accordance with a committee appointment process. Each of the Chairs are regular OSU faculty members with a demonstrated record of professional accomplishment and international experience.

The Humphreys Travel Grants are administered separately from the university Humphreys Study Abroad Scholarships, which are intended for more traditional Study Abroad experiences, and require a separate application procedure. Applications may be submitted by any OSU graduate or undergraduate student, including those not on the Stillwater campus.
